YouGov: "Things Are Only To Get Worse"
From viewing YouGov's most recent survey on a sample of 1918 people (a very small sample one must say).....a majority of Britains believe that Britain is a much worse place than what it was 5 years to go, and yes, you guessed it, its only going to get worse.
When asked "Do you think Britain is a better or worse place to live in than five years ago", the responses stated that:
What is also interesting is that on the same poll, Britons were asked which country they most admired in the world, with a staggering 32% claiming Australia/New Zealand (with Canada trailing right behind with 11%). This should be a useful tool for the government. We have all heard about Australia's lower tax rates, reduced immigration and increased wage rates, so perhaps if we adopted a simular approach to our politics, the future wouldn't look so bleak for Britain.

- 11% feel it is better
- 62% said it was worse
- [25% said it was about the same]
- 11% said it would be better
- 53% said it would be worse
- [25% said it would about the same]

Just goes to show that statistics are corrupted these days. I dont believe any of it, because 99% of the people i know think Britain will be worse off in years to come, never mind the percentages you show.
You would be surprised at the number of people leaving for australia. This country makes you sick
How have things become worse James? The NHS has had more investment than ever before, the economy is growing healthier every day, what is there to complain about. Mind you, thats all you conservatives do is complain.

Lab160 sounds like a dirty leftie muppet. Yes, because the NHS and the economy is all we care about.
Of course, Lab160 will find out how bad things have got when those of us who actually pay tax finally give up and leave -- we'll see how much money the Left and the State can waste then...
Plus, one small point, I don't think you are remotely justified in stating that "the economy is growing healthier every day".

This is so much rubbish it's hard to agree with it on any level. I hope you're not studying politics. It's also gloriously symptomatic of the psuedo-scientific use of stats and polls that make the public sick of all politicians. Perhaps a better question to ask the public would be...do you think the Conservative party will a relevant force in British 20 years? But you don't want to hear that answer.
