Swine Flu - The Price of Immigration?

ITN has reported another victim of the swine flu outbreak around Britain. A nine-year-old girl from Dewsbury has recently died from the virus while suffering from an epileptic fit.
Granted it is a tragic event to occur, but have we as a society really taken swine flu too far? After all, common winter flu affects (and kills) many more people during the December-February months, yet no media coverage is ever made of the significant number of deaths there.
Furthermore, Sky News has released data suggesting that Britain is one of the worst hit countries in the world to be affected by the H1N1 virus, but why? Seeing as everyone is too afraid to say it, i'll go out on a limb and state my opinion; too much immigration into our country perhaps? I personally doubt its lack of educating the masses, especially as the government has invested millions into educating the population with the "catch it, bin it, kill it" campaign, so really, i cannot see any other culprit but our slack border controls.
